Get me and play with me
Nov. 14th, 2008 02:32 pmA couple more leftover items from Halloween...

This is probably a crane machine prize, in the tradition of the Smile Snap and the Wink Mate figures.

Halloweenies
Nov. 13th, 2008 09:52 amSo today's theme is....a jolly holiday with Stitch! Japan Style!!!
We weren't actually in Tokyo for Halloween (we spent our actual anniversary crossing the International Date Line, which was kinda appropriate, if you think of it). But, there was still some residual Stitchiness to be had. In fact, when we were on our way to Star Case, which is the awesome-est Star Wars only retailer in the whole wide world (and only partly because it's the only Star Wars-only retailer in the whole wide world), we happened into a random convenience store, and beheld....

Funny thing is, even though we pretty much spend every waking hour scanning Japanese online auction boards, we'd never seen these guys before!

Oh thank heaven
Oct. 28th, 2008 12:22 pmThere haven't been as many Halloween-themed Stitchies over in Japan as we've seen in previous years. However, what's there is very, very awesome.

We've been working on collecting items available at 7-11 stores over there, but have yet to assemble the definitive set. It's a bit odd, as in previous years, hyper-effiecient Japanese collectors have always made full assemblages of oddments available over the auction boards, for a price, of course. This year, either the full set has been harder to come by, or no one's interested in selling.
But, we'll lead you through what we've put together so far.

Fangs for the memories
Sep. 25th, 2008 12:28 pmThere is NOTHING on earth tiki likes more than Stitch. Unless it's Halloween Stitch!!! Which, combines two of our favorite-est things into one veritable Reese's Peanut Butter cup of splenditude.
But! Then you throw Japan into the mix.....

Apr. 26th, 2008 09:43 amOne of tiki's college buddies used to contend that the world was secretly being run by a Coca Cola company cabal.

We're not sure about that, but they sure do make dandy treat bags!!

Halloween is over

Yes, sadly, Halloween has come and gone, but it's taken us this long to assemble this partial set of Stitchie minis, leetle cell strap/keychain dealos that look like spooky Stitchie and Scrumpie frosted cookies. Which gives us an idea--maybe next year, instead of Crunch bars, we'll pass out ghostie Stitch cookies to the little beggars who come to the door. Or better yet, we'll turn off the porch light, and just sit and eat Stitchie cookies. Mmmmmm.....
The most wonderful time of the year

One of the many benefits of residing at Casa de Tikistitch is the fact that it's Halloween 365 days a year!!! (366 on leap year.)

Multimedia!
Apr. 18th, 2007 10:18 amSo, we were pondering the other day at Tiki Labs LLC (as we are wont to do) and one thing we pondered about was why it's been so long since we've presented Action!Stitchies for your viewing pleasure.

Which brings us to these goofy Stitchie vampires. Yeah, we know, it's not October, or anywhere near, but given that it's always Halloween at Casa de Tiki, so no problem.
Notice that even the little Scrumpies they're holding are vampires too.
