[livejournal.com profile] sassygirl snapped this snazzy piccie of a VDay Devil stitch, spotted in a UK Dizzney store. Anyone seen him? We needs him for our collection of "Stitch posing as a Devil."

...now that he's from Paree?

So, this is an electronic Santa Stitch from France. So, see where it says "Pressez-vous?" (Well, no, actually, you don't, because it just says "PRESS ME" in English, but just play along, ok?) Anyways, you press le button, and his nose lights up and he plays Jingle Bells. Because, of course, that's what Pere Noel does. Or something.

Another item from Disney Paris: EuroStitchie holding his little Scrumpie.

Looks like Stitch is having a very merry un-birthday.

Euro!

Today's theme is EURO! Because.... Well, it's actually because we have a lot of stuff sitting on the dining room table that we kinda need to photograph and get through instead of sitting around watching more season 12 Top Gears we've downloaded from the Intarnets.

We'll start with the best first! Because, well, why the heck not?

This is a teensy "I Love Stitch" coffee/tea mug from the Dizzney store in the UK. It's more the size of a demitasse, or a shot glass, or what Dizzney would delicately refer to as a "toothpick holder."

HOWEVER, there is no room for coffee, tea, toothpicks nor alky-hol, as this puppy holds a teeny beanie Stitch! Not sure how this got started, but the Euro Dizzney store loves these "cup with plushie" dealies, so we've started to get quite a collection of them.

Thanks again, Katie!!!

So, just to show you, Japan is not the only place for Stitch teenies.

Here's a set of teensy porcelain feves figures, from France.

That's a 100 yen coin over to the left, so you can behold the teensiness.

We wanted to show you the Stitch toys Mr. Tikistitch found in the London Disney Store last month. It's kind of weird looking for Stitch stuffs in Europe, because you never know what you'll find. During the summer of 2007, during Star Wars Celebration Europe, we found absolutely nothing of a Stitch-y nature in the London store. But this fall, they've pretty much gone hog wild!

We're thinking this is a new Euro "angry Stitch" mug. If [livejournal.com profile] sassygirl is around, she might know.

Lookee what Mr. Tiki done finded in London!!!

And, yeah, we know it's not even HALLOWEEN yet. Anyways, the mug is insanely cute.

Ooo-la-la!

Today's theme: around the world in 80 Stitchies!!!

Well, ok, we don't have quite 80. It's more like 8. But, you know.

We'll start with these fashionable knit beanies. They're from Disneyland Par-ee. Mr. Tiki's buddy (who's also from Par-ee) picked 'em up for us last time he was there. He also sent us a picture of his kid wearing a Stitch ears cap, which was, like, totally cute.

We've been saving the best for last of the new EuroDisney stuffs. Maybe 'cause they're such devoted tea-drinkers there in the UK, they always seem to come up with amazing ceramic mugs.

The artwork is very unusual for Lilo & Stitch. It doesn't even look much like other Disney stuff.

And they've included Jumba and Pleakley AND Gantu!! Gantu was even in the TV show, but you don't seem him much on the collectibles.

Even the box is pretty cool.

Regressions are running, let's look at some more STUFFS!

More Euro-goodness from [livejournal.com profile] sassygirl....

Here the sinister forces behind EuroDisney's marketing machine have combined an ultra-cute mug (that says "I love Stitch" to boot!) with an ultra-cute mini beanie.

Resistance? Useless.

Though, we remain a bit confused about how you're supposed to sip your cocoa with Stitch there sitting on it. Ah well....

OK, gots lovely package from lovely [livejournal.com profile] sassygirl, chock full o' Euro-goodness, and wanted to share.

A Stitchie coffee mug from the UK Dizzney store. And if you're not OMG JELLUS, then, you sure will be!!!

Polky-dots! HA!

This seems appears to be the same as the Dizzney racer cars they sell in the USA.

Also from the UK:

It's not only cute, it's teensy! (Note tiki hand added for scale.)

Seriously, if you're in the UK, run out and grab a bunch of these! You could have a teeny tiny tea party with your plushies!

From the Dizzney store UK (when it was finally open for business.)

We may have to get some action video of this bad boy. Supposively, he bounces.

So, we're going to ramble on a bit here, partly because we have a lot of pictures, but also partly because we want to tell this tale in full, since it's kind of about collecting, and why we do it, and what you learn without intending to.

Andway, it all started with a picture of this toy:

A friend of Mr. Tikistitch, who knows of our obsession, was visiting Disneyland Resort Paris just before Halloween last year, and stopped to snap a photo of some Stitchie plush pumpkins.
