Stitch can help!

We're pretty sure this is one of those dealies that you can push a button and it'll turn into a little heat pad.

Or at least glow mysteriously. As we see here. Dr. Jumba would be pleased.

The best part? Note on the front, it's listed as a "decorative item." 'Cause even though you've got an owie, you can still be kawaii!

We usually don't buy Stitch infant kurappu, not because it isn't wonderful, but because apparel in Japan tends to be just so danged 'spensive.

But we just couldn't resist this bib set. With baby Stitchies on it! And to think, Japanese babies spit up all over this! And it's probably danged cute!

This is one of those "Ya had to have been there" lessons from collecting. We've seen Gel Gems for sale before, but it's difficult to tell from the pictures just how awesome they are.

These are basically sticker packs with (we think) reusable stickers. One thing that's hard to judge from the pictures: they're pretty big. The pack is maybe 10 inches tall. And the little gels have a pretty good weight to them. They're like 1/8 of an inch thick.

And they're just so darned cute. This one was evidently exclusive to the Disney Store's Santa! Santa! Santa! promotion.

Here's a couple of items we found in Japan that are supposed to serve as cute covers for your handheld game system.

We got this at the Toys R Us near our hotel. It's supposed to be for a system called "DS Lite," which we don't think is available in the USA.

And, of course, if don't want Stitch's face on your game, you can have....

...Stitch's patookie! This one is a Disney Store exclusive.

EDIT: Wait, wait, we we do have DS Lite in the US! Which still doesn't answer the question, Why doesn't tiki have one??? We have the Stitch butt cover for one!!

Sure looks like it!

He's even got a straw hat.

The Disney Store in Japan has started issuing unique Stitch plushies for the opening (or reopening) of new stores. They often have a local theme. Though we think Tanuki is pretty widespread.

See? He's got the store name on his butt!
