Here's a couple of items we found in Japan that are supposed to serve as cute covers for your handheld game system.



We got this at the Toys R Us near our hotel. It's supposed to be for a system called "DS Lite," which we don't think is available in the USA.

And, of course, if don't want Stitch's face on your game, you can have....



...Stitch's patookie! This one is a Disney Store exclusive.

EDIT: Wait, wait, we we do have DS Lite in the US! Which still doesn't answer the question, Why doesn't tiki have one??? We have the Stitch butt cover for one!!

Very cute! I've never wanted a hard case because I've always felt they would just shatter and then the DS Lite would also just shatter, but ... these would be hard to resist! The paw coming through looks like it's rubber or otherwise 3-D; is it?

I got a DS Lite for my birthday!

We feel that, should Tikistitch ever feel the urge to get a DS Lite to cover with the Stitchie Butt, she would enjoy Animal Crossing. (Possibly Lego Star Wars, too, but we have not played that. We have heard good things, though.)

I'm kind of considering it. I have an old model DS that I don't use a lot. OTOH, Japan has so many cute Stitch cell phone covers for cells we don't have over here, and here I could actually use the DS lite cover! With Stitch's butt!!

Must. get. this. you have to tell me where in Japan... I'm going next year after a lot of waiting, just to stock up in Stitchies... Tell me everything!!! or do you just walk around and there happens to be stitchies everywhere?

Yeah, you *do* just literally walk around and find Stitch! Especially in the big cities like Tokyo.

The epicenter of Stitchiana is definitely Tokyo Disney Resort, on the outskirts of the city. You've definitely gotta go there. There's not only the parks, they have a HUGE Disney store at the nearby mall. There are also Disney stores located around Tokyo, and in major cities. And be on the lookout for trinket shops - every mall seems to have one. But, you can find Stitch EVERYWHERE, even pet stores have Stitch dog collars and Stitch food dishes!

^^ I guess you'd have someone immature just ogling at them while you play the DS... but that's just my view on it (and in a rather lighthearted way.) :3
