...being about a dozen crappy pictures of our actually quite wonderful new surfboard.

So, we wuz busy packing eBay stuffs last nite when Mr. Tiki brang this in. And, we were all crankity from filling out about 10 kajillion Express Mail labels so we could send Pullip to Thailand, so that we didn't even notice the big old box!!!!

He carried it home in the convertible. Which was totally awesome!!! But, he didn't get any pictures. He says it's totally easy to carry a surfboard in a convertible. Which is why those old time California surfer dudes used to do it.
Anyways, this is more insanity from the Japanese Disney store. It was only available in an edition of 100. One hundred! Not even enough to defend Thermopylae against the Persian hoards!!!
( surftastic )

Riddle me this
Jun. 14th, 2008 05:44 pmSo, what would you call this here thing:

It's about 3 feet tall, and it's made of foam. It's a dealo you use to keep you afloat in the water. Then we took a look at the label. What do you think it says?
( Hrmmm..." )
OK, that's not quite what we would have guessed.

*gah* Have been writing macros for the last 5 hours straight and truly want to go back to the Mongolian sleeper coach because right now it seems a better prospect to be standing ankle-deep in shit mud with an exploding bladder while a psychotic bus driver whacks us on the head than write absolutely any more SAS code....
(BTW, this is a cute Stitch boogie board from Japan which is also where we wish we were right now.)
Something we found this weekend when we were shoveling out Tikistitch's lair:

A present from the multifaceted Mr. Tikistitch. 'Tis a wrapper for a pack of those little cardboard boxes of fruit drinks the kiddies like to take in their lunches, for tooth-rotting sips. If you look closely, you can see the package includes an offer for a free Lilo & Stitch mini boogie board, as well as a chance to win some kind of incredible Disney contest, which, sadly, we did not.
Regretably, we were not apprised of this incredible FREE (with three proofs of purchase) offer until waaaaaay past the expiration date (as Mr. Tiki turned up the item in the moldy basement of some disreputable eastside grocer). Thus, we were deprived of the licensed styrofoam goodness.
( Until today!!!! )

Since Mr. Tikistitch is down in the Bay Area, and our car is still in the shop, our pal, Boneboy helped us unload the 50 or so boxes that had been piling up at the mailbox place.
( Boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes )
