One thing we noticed whilst browsing for licensed toy items in Romania, Geez, these folks must LOVE Scooby Doo! And then, what did we spot stuck in traffic in downtown Bucharest?

We guessed it was some kind of custom paint job. But, doesn't that look a bit like Shaggy behind the wheel?

Taking a sleeper car to Moldova tonight. Which, we didn't even know was a country until last week. Maybe because it wasn't a country since last week. Will be off the intarnets for the next couple days.

According to the guidebooks, in Moldova, they don't recommend going out on the street after dark.

We hope it will be a short stay.

Off the main square in Brasov. We asked Mr. Tikistitch what the little insignia means.

He says, "That means King of the Squid!" And, Mr. Tiki is always right.

Pack of wild dogs we passes on our way to the train station yesterday. There's another pack that hangs out on the corner next to our hotel. We haven't seen 'em after dark yet, but suspect their eyes glow.

Bucharest, ouside Gara de Nord. Not sure who Gogoasa is, but he don't look pleased.

It was difficult choosing between the various vampire coffee mugs.

In the end, we opted for the tasteful Vlad the Impaler fridge magnet. Now Vlad will guard our beer.

Blogging from Bucharest yay! Boy, there's a lot of stray dogs here.

We flew through Amsterdam, biggest airport in the known universe (soon, they will plow under the rest of the Nethrlands to build another runway).

The airport security dudes were on Segways. No shit. Terrorists beware! Mr. Tiki wonders if they have chases?
