Jul. 15th, 2008 03:23 pmSo, Mr. Tiki and ourselves have been spending a bit of time riding around in bullet trains these past few days. Shinkansen are a lot like airplanes with all the hassles surgically removed - they get you from point to point super fast, and you don't have to take off your shoes unless you really want to.
They also have a "in flight" magazine in the seat backs, and a Sky Mall type of magazine, with a lot of crazy Japanese goods. We found this item in the "exercise" equipment:

So, your guess, what "muscles" is this particular piece of machinery supposed to exercise?
