Tiki rainbow!

Our personal Tiki Guru, Boneboy, approved, however, he insisted our rainbow was not correct and thus proceded to sort our little scalawags in the appropriate Roy G. Biv order. (This is the good thing about being a nerd, as you have infinite access to nerdy friends.)

Although, they ended up kind of backwards, like Roy's sister, Vib G. Yor. Plus, we have no idea what color "indigo" is supposed to be, and had always presupposed it was invented by the crayon manufacturers in order to make a nice round 64 set.

I thought the deal was that Indigo was basically invented by Newton because he wanted the rainbow/spectrum to have 7 colors?

Hee.

In case you're curious, the pamphlet talks about the symbolism and healing powers of the different colors of Stitch. Apparently Stitch's default blue color means "social contact, freedom".

No way!

INDIGO IS A SCAM??????

All my paranoid fantasies have come true!

(That's interesting about the colors by the way. I've seen a lot of collectibles recently that are based around colors, so I've been wondering if this is some new trendy thing in Japan.)

It seems to be a trend that comes and goes. I remember in the 90s, I was coveting some plush series that was all about the healing power of colors and aromatherapy, and I've seen lots of charms alleging to bring you luck in certain departments (popular categories include health, money, romance, and academic success... which neatly summarizes Japan, really) that are generally color-coded.
