Officials in the US state of Massachusetts are investigating how 17 teenage girls from the same school have become pregnant.

How? Er, we're assuming, the usual way.

Apparently one of the fathers is a 24-year-old homeless man.

What I wanna know is if the girls got pregnant by men they were already in relationships with, or if they just picked random people to be impregnated by. "I call dibs on the homeless man!"

According to another source I read, the girls slapped each other high fives when their pregnancy tests came out positive. The article did not state whether they also chanted "USA! USA! USA!"

Man, this is what M. Night Shyamalan should have done for his movie. "Mankind starts making increasingly stupid life decisions, like teen pregnancy pacts and cutting funding to sex ed classes." We could call it... THE DUMBENING.

Apparently, they're doing it to seek "Independence" and "a way into adulthood". I would be laughing my head off if it weren't so messed up that they really believe that.

Someone came into my office telling me this story yesterday! How do you reprimand them for doing this though? I mean, how would you handle that? Make them have the kid as punishment? Make them have an abortion? Ground them? I mean, seriously. Any way you look at it everyone involved is screwed BIG TIME.
