If you are contemplating buying the Hairspray musical sound track, GO FOR IT. I don't think the Zac Efron tracks will damn you any more than the John Travolta In A Fat Suit (Thank God He's Not Talking About Scientology) tracks.

I really enjoyed Hairspray (even fatsuit Travolta)! I like James Marsden more every time I see him in a movie that isn't Xmen. And I find Elijah Kelley just kind of amazing.
