McDonalds Hardcopies: Stitch!

Here's the Stitch-as-an-alien hardcopy for the McDonald's Happy Meal set. There's also an Elvis Stitch bobbledy in the series, but we don't have the toy yet.

So. It may not be obvious from our pix, but Stitch's top arms are actually jointed.

And, of course, since it's a bobble-head, the head is a separate piece.

You can see they've made a lot of changes to the final product (this was an approval hardcopy, which means all the geniuses in Marketing got to tell them how to change it. Also, we've heard that sometimes the engineers who tool the actual molds will get cranky and tell the sculptors they can't do certain things.)

This Stitch actually looks pretty close to the finished copy. Some of the detail has been lost, and notice they've pushed his spines more to the side to make room for the screw.

Oh, and this Stitch also had an extra head. 'Cause, two heads.... you know.
