Even without the translation it's really nice seeing it in full form. I'll send it to that person I was talking about to see if any can be translated into English. :)

Holy crap, I can read some of this! I'd get tenses and stuff wrong, but I can get the gist. Unfortunately the scans are still too small to read the furigana above the kanji, but anyone who can really read Japanese won't need those anyway. This must be written for pretty small children--I wish I had it a bit bigger, it'd be good reading practice for me! haha. I'm such a beginner.

Purely for my own amusement, the top part of the first page is something like ...

LILO ANDO STITCHI (love how they spelled out "and")

Lilo and the alien Stitch live in Hawaii. "Ohana." (I missed a connector there, I think) "Ohana" in the Hawaiian language means "family.

"Stitch, what are you reading? A book about cake?"

This pair's Lilo lives together with her older sister, Nani.

(And that's when I got tired and needed to eat breakfast. However, I like Panel 3, which is labeled "Real Cake" on the right and "Nani's Cake" on the left. Ouch!)

Bottom right label: TSUKIRI NO YUMI. I thought it was "Dream of success" but that'd be TSUKKIRI NO YUME or something, so I have no idea.

The next page looks a lot harder. :p Still easy for someone with good skills, though.

I can make out the kanji. Some of the small ones may take a little trial and error to figure out, like on the last panel of page 8.

Starting with the title, I'm finding a possible pun. They spell out "yaku" at the end rather than using a kanji. Well, that could be "disaster" or "to bake", but as a suffix also means "position/role". Given the particle ga in there, I'm going to go with something more like "Cute Stitch bakes big encouragement" but... it could be "Big Encouragement for Cute Stitch" with the "yaku" just being the implied "role" of the story not rendered in English. Since there's no direct-object particle after the "big encouragement", that makes more sense than "baking big encouragement".

Anyway... I have to write an article today, and Linda is coming over, but I'll do what I can...

Thanks for the scanlation links! You know what's funny? I thought, "They're translated!" and started reading them from right to left, and then wondered why it didn't make any sense!! I know you SAID Italian, but I think my brain immediately assumes anything that's translated is from the Japanese!!

Oh, and I need to change the title. I think it's closer to "Cute Stitch the Big Helper". The "yaku" thus is "role"; it's the role of a big helper -- the two kanji there being "big" and "help/encouragement".

小学 -- small school (i.e., elementary school)
四年生 -- four year life (i.e., fourth grade).

It's kind of interesting to me that they're still promoting LILO & Stitch so much, since they're going to launch that new cartoon with Hanako in a few months.

Their "5th Grader" and "6th Grader" magazines also have Stitch stuffs. Just change the 4 in the URL to 5 and to 6.

But the manga is only in 4th Grader, as one can see from their tables of contents. Indeed, the June issue has more, so the series is continuing beyond the April and May issues that you have.
