I think the article should've been titled, "At last, the British Film critics are taking acid."

If nothing else, I'd rather watch Point Break than ever sit through The Matrix.

During my "semi-ironic crush on Keanu" phase I had posters for Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey as well as Point Break up in my apartment. But, haven't given it a thought since then. I almost wonder if one of the critics is an Hot Fuzz fan?

I've seen Point Break get better props now than when it was released (a recent mention in the Onion AV Club, f'rinstance). But then, so does The Warriors. I suppose 20 years of constant cable repetition will do that.

I'm sorry but how good can any movie with Keanu Reeves, Patrick Swayze and Gary Busey be? At least The Matrix had Laurence Fishburne and Hugo Weaving - and it's much funnier when watched drunk.

Oh my God, I actually saw Pather Panchali like 25 years ago. This is the first mention I've heard of it since.

That's a weird feeling.

I remember seeing it for a Film Appreciation class back in college. Undergrad days.

HOW HOW HOW is it possible that The Shining is #5 and All About Eve is #46?!?!?!? WTF?!?!?!?!

I think "There Will Be Blood" is overrated. Very good, yes, but it is obscene to say it is better than the movie it pays homage to, Citizen Kane.

Wait, WHERE IS CITIZEN KANE?!?!?!?!?!?! WTF?!?!?

THIS LIST IS OBVIOUSLY FLAWED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The discussion dealo accompanying the list (too lazy to look for it) says they decided "Touch of Evil" was better than Citizen Kane. Though, no clue why they couldn't just include *two* Orson Welles movies.

Why are there some films that I studied in my film class not on this list?

apparently, I shouldn't trust The London Times and whoever made this damn list anyways...
