So, as all know, Saturday morning is the time for Tiki Labs LLC's REAL SCIENCE 'SPEARMENTATION YAY!

Today, we've chosen to work on this stuff:

It was rumored to be some kind of bath dealie. We dunno, but there's Stitch on the box, which means there might be Stitchies inside too!

So, what we have here is a situation. More or less, aa typical gashapon-type of situation, of there's some blind baggies with cutie pictures of Stitch, which we want, and also kewl stuffs inside which we also want.

So, we carefully snip snip snip each baglet open, trying not to also cut through whatever goodness is inside, and also trying not to too badly screw up the wrapper.

Here's what's left in the bag after a successful prize extraction: some kinda blue stuff. Which you can either discard or use for chemical warfare purposes. (Hey! We never did find out where Saddam hid all his WMD stuff - what do you suppose he sent it to a toy factory in Japan?)

And here's whatcha get inside! It's..... Er, actually we dunno, since there's a $%#$%@ insert covering it!!!

OK, much more snipping and much dusting of the kitchen counter with a thin layer of a mysterious foreign-made blue powder later.... You know, tiki is probably the only person in the world who actually bothered to open a full set of this crap?

Pretty cool: they actually have different artwork on the reverse.

Here's a clue from the carton: these are not just mascots, they're also bookmarks, stuff to put on yor straps, and.... Er, just mascots we guess.

But for the final question:

Was it worth our time and our counter space to meticulously open each of these dealies, especially since right now what we're going to do is put them all back into other baggies and then into another box?

Um. Hey, look, it's Scrump!

I wish they'd release some of those pieces of artwork as "clipart" on the internet. Man... I'd like to see some web graphics from them. The pictures used on them are so cute.

Hehe, that's neat, though. Japan has lots of cool stuff. :P

One big reason the stuff in Japan is cuter is because they're not contractually bound to just use the "approved" U.S. set of Stitch illustrations that licensed vendors can use.

LOL, remind me of how I used to CAREFULLY open the Sailor Moon candy/ramen/etc,etc back in the day! You certainly don't want to damage the package but you can't damage the contents either...

Would you believe one of my anime friends convinced me that some of it would be more valuable UNOPENED??

Twelve year old ramen?

Anyone????

You are mistaken, it's 'ScRump'.

I think the blue powder must be powdered stitch. Maybe if you plant it in the backyard, it will grow into Stitch trees. And then you could have a Stitch orchard.
