I don't recall you mentioning Disney garden produce. They have them here @ Cubs. Anyway, it's DISNEY and it's PRODUCE. What ya gonna do? No, not package toys with the bananas or put mouse ears on the cantaloupes. But would you believe, we bought a PINEAPPLE.

Oh yeah! Get your hopes up! It was a "SUPER SWEET PINEAPPLE GOLD"

...and the tag featured a drawing of an animated character from...

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN!!

And a FICTIONAL character (at least from the movie story line) at that: she's a female buccaneer, toting a flintlock in one hand, a cutlass in the ohter.

Oh yeh, those nasty pirates were all about pillaging the south pacific and amassing huge hordes of golden...pineapples??

I don't think so but there are novels about Young Jack Sparrow with animated drawings as well as a series of graphic novels.

NO! Not that I know of! That's what pisses me off! You would think that Lilo & Stitch would be perfect on pineapples but NO they had to actually MAKE UP a FICTIONAL CHARACTER, and a cartoon one at that, to stick on the label!
