No, not really. But we're trying to keep track of the multitudinous swag we've seen from Tokyo Anime Fair promoting Stitch! Like this bag...



And it looks like there was also a calendar! With Stitchie playing his....er, whatever that is (sanshin?).

We avoided the Fair when we were there (B wanted to go but I knew better). Heard it was massive. I wanted to save my yen for other stuffs. Yay for you getting things from it!

I'm with you. I think a con would be a great "discover Japan" experience, but I really wouldn't wanna do it unless, like for Celebration, I'm gonna have a badge and not have to worry about potentially spending vacation days standing in line.

We went through that at Tokyo Disney, where we skipped a bunch of the rides since neither of us was willing to wait two hours for the Haunted Mansion, even if with extra added Jack Skellington!

It's a sanshin, which is the Okinawan instrument on which the shamisen was based.

I knew you'd know the answer - thanks! Wiki mentioned both sanshin and shamisen, but I wouldn't be able to tell the difference!
