So, we were just reading this book review in the NY Times about how parents nowadays are forced to spend themselves into penury buying Baby Einstein videos and gym memberships for their baby lest they fear being reported to Social Services, when [livejournal.com profile] hooverdam sent us this insanely cute link featuring various and sundry bizarre gizmos available only in Japan for nurturing ones sprout. Somehow, a generation of children has grown up in the USA without use of the Winnie the Pooh porta potty. Parents, go read it, and be reassured.

Real people buy these silly things? I am surprised. (The diaper wipe warmer is a clever idea, but really you can just stick the wipes in the mircrowave.)
