Anybody have a clue what this might be? The translation programs come up "shower hat." Another said, "approximately age 2-3," so maybe for a baby?



It looks like plastic in the photos, but in that case, why the scissors.

It's one of these. You put it around your kid's head while shampooing to keep the suds out of the eyes. It's soft plastic/foam, and the diagram is showing how you can adjust the size if your kid's head is Family Circus-lookin'.

Ahhh, the shower hat. I was raised on those. I thought ALL kids got their hair washed in the bath this way. I was horrified when I first learned they don't in America... "No wnder they need shampoo that doesn't cause tears." is what I thought.

The instructions say this is designed for children from 2-3 years old to grade school, and the scissors are to adjust the hole larger as the child grows. It does warn to be careful not to cut too much or else it would become loose and leak water. Can't have that!
