Russell T Davies: Return of the (tea) Time Lord

The man who reinvented 'Doctor Who' for a new generation hints at a real surprise to come in the new series, as the man in the Tardis goes into 'dadshock'.

He is the creator of galaxies, saviour of Saturday night telly and the most influential gay man in Britain, but Russell T Davies can still shriek like a starstruck fanboy. "Richard Dawkins!"

Russell Davies shrieking!! Over a scientist!! This is just so many flavors of awesome. Though it would be even awesome-er if he got to kiss Cap'n Jack.

David Tennant = love. Are you watching season 4 yet? I'm liking Donna as a companion so far, though I understand a lot of people in the UK are completely annoyed with the actress who plays her.

That's because of an annoying comedic character she played for years called Lauren.

If you ever saw the UK Comic Relief from a few years ago when Rowan Atkinson did "Spider-Plant Man", you saw a bit of her during the "intermission" between the two parts of Spider-Plant Man.

The schtick basically went like,

"I'm not bovvered.
...
I'm not bovvered though.
...
Look at my face. Do I look bovvered? I'm not bovvered..."

And so on.

Oh, thanks for the links! Yeah, I think I'd probably be "bovvered" with her if I'd been subjected to that over and over and over again. (If you've ever seen Extras, it reminds me of Ricky's annoying tagline, "Is 'e 'aving a laugh?" which is *supposed* to be annoying and pointless.)
