Action!Stitch - your input is needed!
Mar. 31st, 2008 12:22 pmSo, here at Tikistitch Labs LLC, our intention is not just to waste time, our mission is to waste your time as well!!!!
Thus, we have just come into possession of numerous weird Japanese Action!Stitch toys. Your job, if you wish to accept it, is to tell us which toy needs to be subjected to our next highly scientific round of testing!
First we have....

Mouse Rider Stitchies! Mr. tiki thinks they're all riding on Pikachu monsters, but he's just silly, because why would you ride a Pokemon when you could climb on board a giant mouse with wheels on the bottom. Selling point: the TRY ME button coyly peeking out on the mouse's footie. Oh, Japan, you know how to bring out our Inner Alice!
And segundo.....

Mini Talking Stitchies!

According to the Hobby Link Japan web site (which is NEVER wrong), they say "Aloha!" And, they're kawaii.
So what will it be, loyal readers? YouTube fame awaits the winnah!

Date: 2008-04-01 04:42 am (UTC)There's "aai?" and "i!" and one I can't quite make out (closer pic needed!), but it starts with "miiga te", which I thought was interesting (the first word is Stitchese for "me", which we write as "meega"). Perhaps the pseudo-English alienspeak was left untouched in the Japanese dubs.
The three speech bubbles on the Stitch package say "aroha" (aloha), "ohana" and "boku no namae Sutitcchi" (My name Stitch).

Date: 2008-04-01 03:28 pm (UTC)I think I've told you I've seen the Russian dub of L&S, In it, they use Chris's voice for the alien babble. But when Stitch speaks English, they dub into Russian. The voice actor, amusingly, has a voice about an octave deeper than Chris's.

I heard EuroStitch last night -- searching for new Stitch videos on YouTube in hopes of finding one from TAF08 (found one channel that had videos from practically every booth at TAF08 except the Stitch booth, and one video where you could see someone carrying the bag from the Stitch booth...), I found one of glowing 3D animatronic Stitch at EuroDisney. "Je m'appelle Stitch!"
