(We finally had to stop reading this afternoon 'cause we couldn't stifle the snickering & the officemates were starting to look worried for our mental health.)
Ah, that site made me laugh my ass off when I saw it, but sadly there's no one in my household who's ever been exposed to Liefeld before (lucky biatches).
Missed that one the first time 'round. I *do* remember a funny Wizard mag article by the guy who does Strangers in Paradise having his characters ragging on the Liefeld women, "Hey, where do they put their internal organs?"
I hadn't seen a Liefeld book in like forever (I'm sure he's still putting out stuff, I'm just ignoring it). What always bugged me was the faces with the little pointy noses and all the crosshatching, but that guy gave me jillions of other weird stuff to admire. You know what Liefeld's stuff looks like? It's like that semi-talented kid in high school would doodle all over his notebooks. And, he just never ever got any better.

That's exactly what it looked like to me too. And he's so constrained by the style that he never bothered to pick up an anatomy book or take a life drawing class!
Damn, I wish I could find the link, but earlier I found a sight listing the top bunch of heinous things that Rob Liefeld has done. Sadly, the female form as drawn by Liefeld was listed fairly early on.
I think the worst thing Liefeld did, really, was convince a generation of comic artists that THAT (pouches on belts, oversized muscles, pasted in weapons, crosshatching everywhere, obscured feet) was the way to go. I'm sure you've seen Liefeld's Godyssey/Fightin' Jesus Christ fanfic, but... I was shocked to realize that it wasn't *actually* drawn by Liefeld. It was drawn by one of his acolytes. God help us all.

By gum, you're right - there are actual FEET in that comic. I had never thought to look with all the KRAKA-BOOM!
