I love Doctor Who and the idea of a sonic screwdriver is just brilliant. Have you seen David Tennant in the series Blackpool ? He played a cop who had a very Colombo-esque dress sense and the whole show was great.

It never ceases to amaze me how much the design of the Sonic Screwdriver has improved for the new series. Have you seen any of the old ones?! At one point it had a little satellite dish thingie on the end...

I really haven't seen more than a handful of episodes featuring any Who other than Tom Baker (which my PBS channel used to run endlessly when I was a kid). I remember Daleks and the scarf, but can't for the life of me remember ever seeing a sonic screwdriver!
