So, we actually spent surprisingly little time at the Magic Kingdom during our WDW visit - just two half days, one of them after dark, where we spent the majority of our time just draggling after Mr. Tiki and trying not to trip over a dwarf.

Despite the sheer amount of Dizzney memorabilia we had so far acquired during our sojourn, we actually felt we'd got off easy so far. Plush toys and plastic cups, after all, are quite easy to transport. We actually kind of dreaded coming upon something, with, say, breakable ears.

Then, just after Pirates of the Caribbean, we came upon this guy.....

AWWWWW!!!!

This chubby guy is around 5 or 6 inches tall.

The pose is a bit cliche for Stitch, but it's one of our faves, with that big wide grin and all the Stitchie teeth.

So, of course, we schlepped it back. The funny thing is, we realized that we had recently received an almost identical item from Disney Paris - except it's frosted glass instead of clear.

It's invisible Stitch!

Be careful with it! And keep it shiny!

There's a nice glassware stand in Germany in Epcot's pavillions, where you can get that kind of stuff personalized.... I totally swear Disney's entire purpose is to put you on adrenaline-increasing rides, gentler rides that bring down your safeguards, then pump you full of sugar so you just "succumb to the dark merchandissssee".

Oh, I must have missed the German glass shop - but I definitely got lured into the one in the Mexico Pavillion! They had a little Stitch with a guitar, I'll have to post it later. But my real downfall came on that glass shop on Main Street in the Magic Kingcom. I'm still not sure what all I got, since Mr. Tiki made me go outside while he bought some surprises for my bday. Surrender to the Glass Side!!

I never see anything in Mexico except terrifying candy. Which I am, by then, drunk and/or sunstruck enough to buy. Then I get it home, take it out of my suitcase, see just how horrific it really is once it's out of Mexico's fauxlcanic light, and throw it away.

Have you gone on the cheesy Mexico tourist board ride with the creepy animatronic folk dolls? Our friend Tommy was kinda disappointed that they've recently made it somewhat less cheesy.

I...I didn't even know they had a ride. I thought it was just a big restaurant with a volcano, candy carts, and folk art.

Imagine It's A Small World as done by the Mexican Tourist Board on a budget of about $16.95.

OMG, the teeth are so awesome! The frosted effect just there totally makes this piece for me, that's really cool.
