That'd be neat to see on shelves here. It's notable that both WalMart and Zellers have had Ep3 figures on shelves since early March, and not just the preview figures, though Zellers had TONS of them out yesterday. They beckoned me from their Vader headed packaging. But I resisted [I only bout 8 Episode II figures. Considering all the other SW stuff I have, it feels wierd... part of me was also waiting for a clearance ala ep 1, but it never came. I also foolishly waited on a lot of Ep 1 clearance items... ]. I'll probably give in soon. Especially to Mon Mothma :) [woulda thunk we'd get 2 Mon Mothma figures?]
I had the first Mon Mothma! It was first in our "Jedi bureaucrats" series. But, I really have to stay away from *everything* Star Wars, since it just ends up in a box on a shelf in the garage, and then I give it to Mr. Tikistitch to sell in Mexico or whatever. I'd love to have a set of Clone Wars figures, but I've resisted.
I remember hunting around for the 1998 version. A teenager wanting to buy an old lady in a hospital gown with a stick and a film slide. Those were the days. Those Clone Wars figures are shiny, but thankfully a shiny not available in Canada. So I have a reason not to buy them. Almost all my SW stuff is boxed away, though I recently had to reorganize it all since my mom did a "dumpitinabigtote"style cleaning arouynd X-mas. Now today I get to clean up my Transformers [who are all currently on assorted shelves] into boxes. Boxes aren't as much fun as oodles of stuff on your shelves.
