I clearly need to start a budget for myself, because right now I'm just turtled up in "nope, can't buy anything" mode, and it is making me sad. Surely there's room for a couple of fun things here and there, but big bills have made me panic and not do the legwork. This may finally motivate me to do so!
I usually refuse to spend more than $20 on a t-shirt, but a squid in San Francisco may cause me to bend that rule--I live near there, at least!
I think the only Gama-go item I have is the yeti-feet slippers, which I am wearing into the ground, but wear every day and adore madly, so I figure the high price tag was worth it.
Yeah, I feel the same way about my squid hoodie - I probably paid too much, but I wear it several times a week, and always get compliments from other squidoholics.
