Un paquet pour tiki??

C'est un paquet de France

Père Noël! Bonjour!

Un chapeau! Très chic, n'est-ce pas ?

Et, les autres. Which we are too lazy to look up on Babelfish. Nous sommes désolés.

You're wearing that hat to work, right?

You know, I sent the picture to the woman who sold me the stuff (who's really a sweetie) and she actually told me, "Please don't wear that cap outside the house!" :-)

She is French, remember? There are probably substantial penalties over there for leaving the house without looking sufficiently chic! :-)

Hahahah, oh mais oui.

I just saw a survey on [livejournal.com profile] whatjapanthinks about what the dead giveaways for female otaku are, and one was "going OUT ON THE STREET without MAKEUP omg!!!" (not verbatim, but it did definitely have a scandalized tone to it). Gosh, I'm marked for life, I guess.

Heh. The way some of the chicks here plaster makeup on, it must take HOURS to apply. Let us stand shoulder-to-shoulder in our proud makeuplessness!

Hee! I mean, I wear a little, but I'm not going to think about putting some on if I'm running out for groceries--and to listen to a couple of my Japanese friends, they wouldn't even do that without makeup. (Then again, neither would some of my Southern-lady-type relatives. Fine, pass the trowel over to them...)

When I was about 15, my stepmom's sister-in-law came to visit. She was a pro makeup artist, and she asked if I'd be willing to let her slather makeup on me. I agreed (not without some trepidation), and then three hours later she was done, and it was in fact rather amazing to see that my nose was not visible if you looked at me face-on. Of course, once I turned my head to the side, there it was...!

It seems to me that life's just too short for that much vanity.

Hey ... how come American Disneyland did not have this wonderful chapeau for us to buy & wear whilst we were in their parks?!? Hmmmm???? I would've worn mine all day! ;-)

You know, I was actually silly enough to figure from the first two pics that it was some cool accessory from Germany for the Porsche or Bimmer... ^0^

You can totally wear that hat outside the house in France as long as your wear it with matching Stitch paw gloves and Stitch booties.

Coordination is everything!

Just don't add actual Stitch clothing, because then you move from "pulled-together" into "matchy-matchy."
