Dearest Internet People What Actually Know This Kind of Stuff:

Did Ricky Gervais really appear as a giant space slug in an episode of Dr. Who?

We suspect (in the part of our brain that has not yet surrendered to total geekdom) that they were just funnin' with us. But, it would just be so awesome.

XOXOXOXO

I saw Extras. But, I STILL WANT IT TO BE TRUE.

(Yes, hopeless.)

Since I hadn't seen Extras and had to go figure out what the deal was, this post prompted me to start poking around about the Doctor Who Confidential eps, as possibly my favorite moment in series three actually came from the Confidential for episode 3, but I don't know if the music will be included properly in the US version or not...

Ok, long story short (too late!), you've set me off a-Who-geeking, and I'm now listening to the soundtrack as I scan patents. ^_^

I really haven't paid much attention to the show since the Tom Baker era (ancient Who-story, I know). But between the writers strike and David Tennant's awesomeness, I've become totally hooked. Hellllpppp!

I prefer Christopher Eccleston as Doctor Who.
