tiki tattles
Oct. 17th, 2007 04:10 pmOK, since we filled y'all in on our afternoon of postal terror yesterday, and receive gobs o' head pats & sympathies, we thought we'd post a brief update.
Basically, this time we called and asked for the manager (yeah, we know, evils, but Stitchies were involved, so 'twas time for escalation to supervisory types).
Oops. Someone got some 'splaining to do.
Basically, this time we called and asked for the manager (yeah, we know, evils, but Stitchies were involved, so 'twas time for escalation to supervisory types).
Phone: BRRRRING!
tiki: Moshi moshi manager dude!
Manager Dude: Whassup?
tiki: Well, I kind of wanted to understand what happened yesterday.
MD: Er....what happened yesterday?
(Here tiki supplies a Cliff Notes version of our adventure, minus the car prowl, but including all relevant comments from CMG, including how we get too many packages and don't pay our share and are generally bad, evil customers.)
MD: OK, you are not bad customers. You are good customers.
tiki: 'kay.
MD: And, returning your packages to foreign countries would be a bad thing.
tiki: 'kay.
MD: And if that ever happens again, you call me.
tiki: 'kay.
MD: You ask to speak directly to me, and I will work it out. Do you understand?
tiki: 'kay.
MD: I apologize. And I will talk to CMG.
tiki: 'kay. Thankees, bye!
Oops. Someone got some 'splaining to do.

Date: 2007-10-18 01:09 am (UTC)Though you may have originally thought you were a 'tattletale' for speaking to the manager - that's what you're *supposed* to do. The manager *needed* to know. It's called customer service. If CMG keeps behaving in the manner he did towards you yesterday, manager dude would no longer have a job (or even business - if he happens to be the owner).
Remember, I's know - being in the customer service business herself.
