I want a Pinky St. doll! But the only ones I've seen locally for under $20 were the Range Murata ones, and while I like some of his art, it's not what I want in a Pinky doll. I want one like this!
Yeah, I shouldn't. I feel mildly less guilty when I drive traffic to a retailer though.

I never really caught on to them (which is fine, since I already have enough crap). I gather people who do collect are getting a little annoyed with all the repaints.
By "mildly cranky" I meant they blocked the image, wahhh. I clicked through though.
Yeah, it's just as well that I haven't bought any. But I have recently met someone who also buys Rement minis, so that may result in my becoming an actual collector. Uhoh! ;)
Yes, very very teensy...and SO ADDICTIVE. I just need to get some kind of teensy display case. Actually, the nearby Daiso has a bunch of plastic model display cases, so maybe those will do once we get the china hutch set up. And I think there's a Rement exchange community on LJ, but I'm trying to avoid joining. :p
Although I shouldn't be encouraging this, I was on a Yahoo group for gashapon, and some of the folks got these mini-mini shelves for their figures that were quite cute.
I actually saw what I believe was a Pinkys BOY character at a Volks shop the other day. I wasn't entirely sure, though, and didn't call over either of my Nihongo-enabled friends to ask them. I should have.
There is a new Pinky that is a boy, and previously they did the Air Gear character Agito who is also a boy. He comes with his very own orange straight jacket.

You do know about all the Tako Re-Ments right?

Date: 2007-09-18 04:25 pm (UTC)Actually, no, because I've been trying NOT to pay attention to ReMents, since they're so adorable. Do tell! :-)
