Croc stoppers

These little twitlets require some explanation. Ya know those plastic vegan shoes everybody is wearing nowadays? Ya know how they have little holes in them? Well, these little dealos are supposed to plug the holes.



This photo's actually still bigger than life sized. They're totally licensed and everything. They're called Jibbitz. Thing is, in Japan, where everything is required by law to be cute, they've really caught on. So, these actually came to our attention 'cause some maniacs in Japan were asking $30 for them on an auction board. (We got 'em a lot cheaper--we're cheapskates here at tikistitch LLC.)

I was just looking at those the other night on the CROCS page (cause despite them being made in China I was wondering where "CROCS" came from as we got ourselves a couple pairs of the Disney Pirate CROCS about a week ago.. Anyway, I was looking at the "Jibbitz" page (you can get them from $3 to $6 depending on what they are.. the "CAL" ones are like $6) and I saw the Stitch heads.. and thought "I wonder if TikiStitch has seen these??"

crap.. that answers that question.. LOL

I am not sporting those Jibbitz things.. (although I wish they had "meeko" ones.. then I could get those and maybe the "compass" Jibitz to wear on my Pirate CROCS at WDW next month..

OK, so do Jibbitz work on the Disney Crocs? I read somewhere that they weren't compatible, which seems kinda weird!

they are compatible on the Pirate of the Carribean CROCS but NOT on the MICKEY ICON shaped holes which are on the regular Disney CROCS. =)

Yeah I was thinking that myself.. cause I was like "how sucketh would it be if I wanted PotC Jibbitz (not that I do cause.. why?) and can't have them on my Pirate CROCS?" so yeah.. but also you can get (I gather cause I was curious what the actual retail price of my CROCS were.. yipes!) accesory straps or something so you can have JIBBITZ on those (I think). =)

Oh, Mickey-shaped holes, that makes sense! Though you think they'd make some Mickey-shaped Jibbitz. That also explains what those straps are for.

If they made Crocs with Stitch-ears-shaped holes, I would so buy them.

I've heard they don't work with *Disney* crocs. Which is kinda weird.
