Since he's a nocturnal type o' guy, Mr. Tikistitch was up in the midst of last night, documenting the lunar eclipse.



O noes! Someone has taken a bite of our precious moon! (Maybe Chairface Chippendale?)

Ah Luna the moon goddes blessed you; I didn't even bother going out 'cause totality began here at 4.52am which was after TYPHOON IV (note, we're numbering them now) roared through at 3.30-4am. (76 mph wind and 3+ inches of rain) Anyhoo, getting up less than an hour later to see if, possibly, the clouds had cleared seemed futile at best.

Oh and btw, we began August in severe drought conditions but thanks, in part, to typhoons I, II, III & IV, we're now within .02" of rain in setting the wettest August in recorded history record...and there's thunderstorm warnings out till 9pm tonight!! yay!!
