Forgot if we ever showed piccies of all the stuff we acquired in Shanghai. (We just finally put it away yesterday, and it 'minded us.)

The plushies are from a department store in Shanghai that was like Licensing Heaven.

Like this mall.

The entire inside of the store was like this--not all Teletubbies, but every corner was filled with licensed goods, Teletubbies or SpongeBob or Dizzney or whatever. (We totally wanted to take more pix, but after Russia, we were a bit afraid of being yelled at.)

Anyways, this stuff was from another department store at the same mall.

Once the lady near the Disney stationery saw what we were interested in, she started pulling out more stuff.

And more stuff, and more stuff....

We were pretty amazed, since we had pictured China as Land of the Bootlegs.

Also, we hadn't seen most of this stuff available at any online store from Japan, which means it might just be meant for the market in China and elsewhere in Asia. Kinda frustrating, as our Stitch stores here in the U. S. of A. have been virtually blue mutant-free of late, but here the Commies can run right down to the local department store and pick up their licensed Stitchies!
