I'm not entirely sure how I managed to function without them to look forward to every week. I just saw them live at the World Cafe just a few weeks ago and it was amazing.

Only two more episodes until this season is over :,(

They were fabulous live! It's a super small show and they were just as silly as the TV series :) They also have an HBO special or two.

conchords_hbo might actually have the HBO special for download. I know they have the eps.

Ooo, I didn't know they did a special! I'll look around for it. My world is in need of more Bret & Jemaine. They almost make me forgive HBO for John from Cincinnati (I said almost).

I don't think I will ever forgive HBO for John from Cincinnati. Years from now, they'll produce something terrible and I will just chuckle to myself and say 'At least it's not John from Cincinnati'. That show makes me appreciate good TV so much more.

But I think the special is fairly old! My sister mentioned seeing it a few years back on Comedy Central. And I know there's lovely clips on YouTube from their live shows.

WXPN (http://www.wxpn.org/) frequently plays clips from the show I saw on their station, as well as play the show (usually they announce it). Not quite the same as seeing them, but they're fun to hear.

If I ever meet David Milch, I think he deserves to be slapped silly. I almost wonder if it was revenge for HBO cancelling Deadwood.

I'm going to have my TiVo search for Conchords. (As long as the stupid cable doesn't go out again!) Meanwhile, I'm still searching for an MP3 of that song to "The Ladies" they did on the last show. They're just kind of insanely wonderful.
