Some random images from Beijing. Was just talking to a pal from China about some funny Engrish on Chinese signs. In sum, we are both PRO funny signs.

No Spitting in Tiananmen Square. Not funny so much as odd--people in Russia and China spit everywhere, so it's funny to see that it's officially frowned upon.

Oh yes, the "no spitting in public" thing is supposedly part of the big pre-Olympics push. If they can just reduce the amount of public, middle-of-street peeing I'd be happy...
