I was talking to a friend of mine the other day about how there's Starbucks everywhere. I said "There's probably Starbucks on the moon by now." So if there's Ikea in Outer Mongolia, there's gotta be Starbucks on the moon.

As it happens, my friend confirmed that there is NO Starbucks in her town! Amazing, isn't it? And no, my friend does not live in Anarctica!

As it happened, I went to Beijing's Forbidden City today. It used to have a Starbucks! But, it's closed down, dernit.
