The wrath of Khan

Two million people total in Mongolia, half of them live in this city. So, they always seem to be building.





This is their main square. Everything here is about Genghis Khan. They don't like the Inner Mongolians too much. They liked Genghis better than the Russians. And, so do I.

Interesting to note that the pose is almost identical to the one used in the statue of French King Saint Louis IX.
