We asked the girl at the Puppet Hostel where to find propaganda posters--"Ooo, like the old Soviet style?" she gushed? We realized that she was basically too young to even remember the Commies. But, they are remembered. And with surprising humor.

For bonus points, this last was affixed to a particularly ugly Soviet-style building. Fortunately, there are few of these monstrosities in St. Pete. Seems mostly right now they're using oil money to gut and refurbish the old buildings.
