Mr. Tiki's Fourth

Just got a call from Mr. Tikistitch. Out of fear of Al Qaeda's Most Hilarious Terrorists perhaps tossing haggis at the terminal (seriously, Evil-Doers, get a clue, setting yourself on fire from your own crappy bomb = not teh scary) they've shut down Heathrow Airport. Which means Mr. Tiki's flight to London was cancelled. Which means he'll be forced to spend 4th of July, here, with his sweetie, rather than on a business trip.

*bouncitation*

(Though, if they cancel our flight to London for our vacation same time next week, we are well and truly fucked, but we'll keep a happy thought for now.)

For what it's worth, my other half is flying back to Heathrow from Amman (via Beirut!) tomorrow (July 5) so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you all, lol ;)

According to Mr. Tiki, it was only ONE terminal at Heathrow. Why? "They found a bag." At an airport. Imagine.

If I can still get train reservations, it would be a kind of stupid visit, like last time, where I take the Eurostar in in the morning, and out the same evening.
