The Tower of Terror ride has come to Tokyo Disney Sea.

It's been, er, a bit reimagined.

Looks like Stitch is having himself a little bit of trouble with the Powers That Be.

Here's a shirt from the American version of the Tower of Terror.

It's based on the Twilight Zone, and Stitch is cast as a Harpo Marx-esque mischevious bellhop.

The storyline for the Tokyo equivalent is a bit different: seems someone has been possessed by a spirit, Shiriki Utundu.

And, he's not a terribly friendly spirit.

At least, he always seems to end up zapping our little blue friend.

Maybe he's not pleased with Stitch wearing him around like a hat?

I was pretty disappointed when I visited Cali Adventure last month--NO Stitch merchandise at Tower of Terror. None!

Let me know if you want any stitch stuff from WDW tower of terror :) They have tons! I'd be more than happy to send a little stitch-love your way.

And we're *trying* to get to Tokyo DisneySea for our honeymoon, too! :;fingers crossed:

We didn't get to Disney Sea when we went to Tokyo Disneyland--they had some funny deal with the tickets where you could buy admission for both, but would have to go on subsequent days (ie, couldn't see both at the same day).

I've heard very mixed reviews of Disney Sea--it sounds like there's some awesome rides, like Tower of Terror, and the Raging Spirits roller coaster. But a Japanese friend has called the park "boring." FWIW, we thought Tokyo Disneyland was awesome--the only disappointment was the long, loooooong wait for some of the rides.

oh! thank you! we're (trying to) planing the trip and not quite sure what to do/where to go. any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated! but i think we've already agreed to do one day at TDL and one at TDS. having lived in FL my whole life, i'm used to those darn long lines, but i'm hoping that we'll still get to see lots even if we don't do a whole lot of rides.

of course, i'm just holding out for lots and lots and LOTS of stitchy goodness

The shopping at Tokyo Disney is absolutely insane. I mean, even in the shop by the railway station--you don't even need to make it to the park! But the lines (this is on a weekday in the off season) could run like 2 hours for Haunted Mansion. Fortunately, the have little signs in front that estimate the wait for you.

As for other Japan stuff, I'd definitely make time for the Miyazaki museum. It's in a Tokyo suburb. If you like Totoro, it was just awesome.
