Obviously, the Yahoo Japan Gods are well pleased with us today.

(Looks like there's a winky one too--O joy!)

Hya! I've been watching this journal for what seems like forever, being a massive L&S fan (favourite franchise ever) AND Jap toys fan myself, this journal is like a little slice of paradise! I just noticed now I could comment without a livejournal account, so I'd just like to say thanks for all the experiment-ness thus far and looking forward to more!

PS: There's a little Jap import store here in Canada that has some of the products listed here! I was squealing when I found it! I bought an Angel plush, which is a huge rarity anywhere outside Japan or Ebay-type sites. ^-^

Hi Pirka! Yeah, I've found a couple Japanese Stitch plushies lately in a shop in the International District here. I've been begging my online dealers forever to stock some L&S stuff, and you can get a few little cute L&S things from Strapya World, but you're right, it's difficult to find that kind of stuff here yet, unless you use online auctions.

Correct...it's kind of stupid in my opinion that there have been no 'cousins' plushies shipped here ever. O_O Aren't they really popular here too? All we seem to get is generic Stitch plushies.

Well, one thing is, the cousins are from the TV series, which has finished producing new episodes, and for whatever reason, toy companies only like to make toys based on ongoing series.

I'm kind of wondering what Disney is going to do with Stitch products in general now that Chris Sanders has left. I've seen concepts for new Stitch products, so I know he's still going to be around for at least a little while.

Then why do plushies of just Stitch come out all the time? O_O Isn't he from a finished (hopefully we will be proved wrong, but with Chris leaving for DW...) franchise? Maybe the 'cousins' are just unpopular. Which I know for a fact isn't true.

I remember when Stitch! The Movie came out, the Disney store guy promised me that Sparky plushies AT LEAST would be available there in a month. LIES!
