I hate those things! It's like, "I'm gonna appear to be talking to myself in public, because I'M WAY MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOU ARE!"

The funniest part is watching these folks walk down the frozen foods aisle at a grocery store. "Honey, do we need okra?"

*sighs* I once had the misfortune to get behind Earclip Phone Man at the bagel shop. After spending twenty minutes precisely determining the exact ratio of sesame to onion in his mixed dozen, he made the clerks rub off the grease pencil prices on all of the cream cheese bins before he'd buy them, because he's Earclip Phone Man.

At the post office I go to all the time, there are signs everywhere saying "DO NOT USE YOUR CELL PHONE IN THE POST OFFICE. IT SLOWS DOWN OUR EQUIPMENT. THANK YOU." But do people pay attention to it? Nooooo! They're WAY more important than any silly sign!

When I was in my comix shop a few weeks back, this other guy browsing was babbling nonstop into his stupid earclip thingie. Then he left the store, and when I went up to pay, the clerk was all apologetic for the guy weirding me out. Turns out, there was no earclip cell phone, the guy was just bonkers!
