A Hollywood wookiee impersonator is accused of head-butting a tour guide. A witness: Superman.

The buzz on Hollywood Boulevard on Friday was over the Chewbacca who police say crossed over to the dark side in front of hundreds of tourists at Grauman's Chinese Theatre.

LAPD officers arrested "Star Wars" street performer Frederick Evan Young, 44, of Los Angeles in his furry brown wookiee costume Thursday on a charge of misdemeanor battery for allegedly head-butting a tour guide who complained about Young's treatment of two visitors from Japan.

I just read that in the news, and I am totally THRILLED. That guy used to come into my work all the time, and he always expected a discount, because he managed to trick one of the stupider employees into giving it to him. He'd take off his mask and drip sweat ALL OVER the tables and windows, and it smelled so bad, he'd chase people out faster that a homeless dude.

He doesn't even have a complete costume. His mask is plastic, his body suit looks like it came from a bear, and he has black gloves instead of paws. I maintain that the only reason people take photos with him is out of pity.


He's also just a big jerk.

Explains why we haven't seen him around in a few days.

Sorry dudes, us locals don't want to get our pic taken with any of you. One night a friend & I were trying to get dinner before a show at the Knitting Factory. My friend had to get her arm out of Chucky's grasp and tell him no.
