EDIT: twotone has posited that foxy Stitch is supposed to be dressed as a tanuki. Though, he does lack some of the, er, requirements.

Hmmm... Angel's got a belly-button, though, and those are generally associated with tanuki.

My other guess was going to be nine tailed foxes but missing 8 tails.

Clarification: I think ANGEL is a tanuki (girl kind, obviously), possibly done in white and silver tones to complement golden-fox Stitch. I think Stitch is dressed as a fox, not a tanuki, since he appears to lack the belly-button mark (also no ballsac). Also, foxes are considered to be golden in Japan (when sauteeing bread crumbs, for example, cookbooks instruct us to fry them in oil until they are "kitsune-iro" or fox-colored.)
