Springtime for Stitch
Feb. 3rd, 2005 10:38 amSoooo.... We stopped off at the Stich store apres our teeth cleaning yesterday morn, and found, to our surprise, half a dozen new Stitch plushies.
This guy, for example, is called "Garden Party Stitch."
clique for bigger pique
Mr. Tikistitch, however, who has obviously been too influenced by a viewing of the movie Deliverance at a tender age, prefers to call him "Banjo-playin' Stitch."
They also had a new St. Paddy's Day Stitch. He has a "kiss me" shirt, which, if you look closely, reveals a subtle shamrock pattern.
The biggest plushie of the lot was something Dizzney has termed New Sitting Stitch (as opposed to the Old Sitting Stitch). Although, based on the size of his giant patookie, cultists of the Buckaroo Banzai movie might prefer to term him "Stitch Bigbootie." ("That's 'Bigbootay!'")
Also spotted, the disturbingly staring Springtime Stitch, the balloon-clutching Par-tay Stitch, and the oddly named Core Mini Bean Bag Pal (the core of what, we might ask).
Oh, and the greatest news of all: they were passing out free stickers for the new Heffalump movie!!! (But, what happened to the Woozles? We are confoozle.) Sadly, though Tikistitch has for a long time bravely resisted acquiring any of the Dizzney Stores copious Pooh merchandise, such as bouncing Tiggers or ever so soft Eeyores, we must admit our resistance would fail when faced with a plushie Heffalump. Sigh.
