Blogging 'set to peak next year'

The blogging phenomenon is set to peak in 2007, according to technology predictions by analysts Gartner.

The analysts said that during the middle of next year the number of blogs will level out at about 100 million.

The firm has said that 200 million people have already stopped writing their blogs.

200 million abandoned blogs?

Some one ought to start a charity.

what is 'blogging' going out of style these days??? sigh.. it's just as well I guess as there's only so many hours in the day and maybe that'll mean more bandwidth for the more regular posting folks like us. =)

btw: my cats still post in their LJ sometimes, just not all the time.. they're housecats so how many times can Alexander post "I beat up my sister today and then I licked my paws & bit on my nails.. I got a hangnail." It's sort of an everyday occurance around here. *VBG*
