Congratulations about the group! And you don't have anything to worry about. You might wanna make an introductory post letting people know you're the new mod but it seems like you're the supahstar in the Lilo & Stitch comm. already. You will do fine. :)

on the whole livejournal group, maybe you can set themed entries where people write things about their favourite characters and you can see how they're represented in the movies and tv show, see if their character develops or has any inconsistences!
but then again, it's lilo and stitch, i may have kept my academic hat on for too long today
