Hey, I think my slippers are his feet cut off! o.O Blue and white fur, overstuffed, blue claws, even feet printed on the bottom, they're the greatest.
I decided that even though I'm getting rid of stuff myself and won't be collecting much of anything anymore (at least not for awhile), I still wanted to see what's out there, so went through the last few months of your posts, and my god, the Japanese are killing me with the Stitch cuteness. It's definitely comforting that I'll at least get to see pictures of all the goodness, even if I won't acquire any more for myself!
You bring up an excellent point. I hope as a general rule, people will use my blog to look at the crazy variety of stuff that's out there, and maybe if there's something they think is especially cool, try to seek that out. We're crazy collectors, and we bought a house specifically so it has tons of room to hold and display our stuff. "Don't try this at home, kids!"
And if you're ever in the neighborhood, come visit the Stitches! ^_^
Honestly, I have loved looking at your stuff for years, since I started collecting anime dolls wayback (ok, 7 or 8 years, but it feels like a long time!) and came across your pages somewhere in there. While still buying, well, everything, I wavered between intensely gratified and intensely jealous to see all you had, but now I'm firmly in the "wow, that's cool!" camp, and only rarely feel a twinge of "OMG, want!" (the recent pirate Stitch purses and mini being the strongest; it's hard to resist two favorites combined!)
So thank you, really to both you and mr_tikistitch (as I collected SW figures for a good while there, too), for providing such an enormous and varied lexicon of The Coolest of Stuff. It's amazing and wonderful and an absolute joy to see.
And I would love to come by next time I make it up your way--I'm actually hoping to roadtrip up to Seattle again next summer, as local friends bought a house, and another friend just moved up there, and the drive up the coast was amazing and I want to do it again. It would be grand to meet you and see the house in all its glory. Thank you!
(ps--I absolutely adore the new house color, it's gorgeous!)
