Mickey is pretending to be Pooh.

Pooh is pretending to be Stitch.

And Mickey's girlfriend, Minnie, is pretending to be Stitch's girlfriend, Angel.

Why doesn't Pooh have a gf? Is he supposed to be the cool gay friend Minnie hangs out with when Mickey's watching NASCAR?

...So Minnie is cheating on Mickey with Pooh?

Or Pseudo-Angel is cheating on Pseudo-Stitch with Pooh?

Either way, I think this establishes that Winnie the Pooh is a mack daddy.

I edited the entry about 2 seconds after I posted it. But, I think I like your Mack Daddy hypothesis better! ^_^

What does that make Christopher Robin? If he's gay, my whole childhood is explained... since I was called Christopher Robin for many years.

Years ago I read this book at the home of a college professor I used to babysit for. I can't recall the title, but it was a collection of essays about WINNIE THE POOH (the original Milne works, I think, rather than the Disney stuff) that posited different takes on them. There was one guy who took it as a Marxist parable, and so on.

One guy claimed that it was all a big homosexual thing, because didja ever notice that the only female in the Hundred Aker Wood is Kanga, and she's someone's MOM, and a rather ineffectual one at that? And the guy spent a great deal of time talking about Tigger and Roo, and how they had the most totally gay relationship ever, what with Tigger's generally cheerful-about-everything attitude, and his constant "bouncing," and Roo passionately saying, "Try bouncing ME, Tigger!"

I don't recall that this essay had a tone of OMG GAY IS EVAL LET'S KILL THEM ALLLLLLL like you'd probably see nowadays, but it was fascinating.

Hahahaha! That sounds f*cked up enough to be a scholarly work. Yeah, Marxist Pooh. Tigger is the proletariat, and Pooh is the bourgeoise, and Piglet is the pig iron we need to gather for PROGRESS.

BTW, much Icon love......

I think I was only like 15 when I read that book, so a lot of it went right over my head, but I remember spending a lot of time thinking, "WTF?"

I forgot to mention how much I like your new icon, and am glad you did a posting about where it came from! Yay, graphic design!
