I apologize if you already know this, but Monomono's Kintoun cloud-shaped skateboard is drawn from the same source material that Dragonball is parodying. So she's not just dressed as monkey, she's specifically cosplaying as the original Monkey King (which Goku of Dragonball references).

I am loving the pseudo-gothic pseudo-ethnic clothes they're doing with the big Pullips. I guess Chill is a "gothic-taste Eskimo" to go with Zuora's "gothic-taste Viking"? I wonder if they'll hit all the Scandinavian countries.

Was the flying nimbus an original part of Journey to the West? I've seen a couple of versions (including the horrible "Alakazam the Great" cartoon when I was a kid), but never read the original.

I actually haven't read my copy of Journey to the West since I was a kid (and I think I left it, along with all my childhood books, at my parents' place) but it's definitely part of the Japanese understanding of the legend, if not the original material. :p

I like the Zuora one [with the horns/witches hood], and the Dinosaur :) Though an entire line of Rozen Maiden? Wow. It's pretty much a manga all about creepy dollies. I like how one has an eyepatch :)
