Oh yeah. This was why adulthood looked so dismal when I was in grade school. Our choices were nurse, teacher, or ballerina. Until we got married of course.

When I was in first grade, I had a little memory book thingie where you were supposed to paste your photo and report card every year, and that kind of thing. They also had a quiz about what you wanted to be when you grew up, for which the girl choices were things like a nurse or a ballerina. I crossed them all out and scribbled, "PRESIDENT." Wish I still had it...
